Arnie Cammeyer, B.S. (PHARM), FASCP, graduated from Brooklyn College of Pharmacy. Arnie began his career as a staff pharmacist with Walgreens, working for them in both New York and Florida, after which, in 1960, he opened Brier's Pharmacy in Flushing, New York.

Recognizing early on the opportunities for pharmacists to provide medication for nursing home patients, Arnie became one of the New York area's pioneers in this arena. During a 28 year stint as the President of Brier's Pharmacy, Arnie became one of the regions premier providers to nursing home patients. In 1965 he formed Kaz Consulting Company, which provided pharmacy consulting services to nursing homes throughout the New York Metropolitan area, advising for more than 2,500 long term care patients. He sold Brier's in 1987, has continued to remain an active participant in the specialty pharmacy arena through Kaz and a consulting firm he founded, Parkwood Consultants, LLC, of Great Neck, New York.

Arnie is a charter member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), has served the society for more than thirty years and was twice elected its treasurer, a position he held for twelve consecutive years (1974-1986) and then again from 1996-1999. He has served as President and Chairman of the Board of that organization and has played an instrumental role in many of ASCP's activities and achievements. Arnie was honored by ASCP as the first recipient of the Richard S. Berman Service Award. He also organized the New York chapter of ASCP. He is a member of numerous other pharmacy and healthcare trade associations and remains an active participant in all of them.

Arnie has maintained a visible and active position in the world of long term care and specialty pharmacy, attending meetings, seminars and conventions of the various trade groups and other organizations that have emerged to serve this growing community of pharmacists and pharmacy owners. His network of contacts among owners of long term care and specialty pharmacies coupled with his relationships throughout the industry will enable Arnie to assist those of Buy-Sell's clients who wish to acquire or divest themselves of long term care, infusion, or specialty pharmacy businesses.
